Low Fat Humous - Oil Free - High Protein

All the taste with none of the oil! 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • The juice of 1/4 - 1/2 lemon
  • 1 fresh garlic clove (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt to taste
  •  
  • (Garnish)
  • A dusting of smoked paprika
  • A dusting of dried oregano



Method:

  1. 1. Drain chickpeas.
  2. 2. Put all main ingredients in to food processor and blend (adding a little water if necessary) until smooth.
  3. 3. Transfer to serving bowl.
  4. 4. Sprinkle garnish on top.


Enjoy with crudites or pitta bread for a high protein treat!
